• What is the moisture level in the walnuts after the drying operation?

We can not give a solid percentage.Since the dryer works with a heater and a controllable fan , you have to adjust your own moisture level by taking samples and testing them.The heating time depends on the ambient temparature+walnut type+ drier fan speed and heater resistance.The optimal drying time is between 12 to 24 hours.This time period is used in Turkey and Europe for a standard drying time.When drying the walnuts the fan heat must be between 35-40 C celsius.The ideal drying temp is 38C celsius.Over 50C celcius the drying process will be lowered dramatically but there is a big chance that the walnut oil forms a diffrent bond and make the inside of the walnut darker.)
