How to use rope tree shaking machines?

The belt at the end of the steel rope is tied to the flexible main branches of the tree or, if the tree is young, to a section of the trunk where it can flex as the crown begins. The tractor moves forward to take up the slack in the rope. When the power take-off (PTO) is engaged, the tree begins to shake, and the fruit detaches from the branch and falls. The shaking intensity and speed are controlled by the tractor.

Rope length information:

The shorter and lighter the steel rope is chosen, the higher the shaking success. As the rope length increases, the rope may begin to sag, negatively affecting the shaking performance. You can shorten the machine's rope to the desired length. A rope length sufficient to prevent the tractor from crushing the harvested produce is adequate. This length can be 4-6 meters for young trees and 8-10 meters for older trees.

Does it harm the trees?
