» Kadıoğlu MX25P Pellet Fuel Heated Multi-Layer Walnut and Hazelnut Drying Machine

Kadıoğlu MX25P Model Nut Drying Machine has a multi-layered structure. In the MX25P Model, nutshells such as hazelnut shells, walnut shells, or pellets are used as the heating fuel. (Versions that operate with electricity, diesel, or LPG are also available.)
The machine is suitable for drying nuts, such as walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, and similar shell products.

Operating Principle: The machine has a multi-layered interior. Each layer receives a certain amount of product. The harvest is loaded into the machine from the top using a conveyor belt, and the fan with the heater is turned on. Initially, the product on the lowest layer that comes into contact with dry air dries. When the product on the bottom layer is dry, that layer is emptied, and the product remaining on the upper layers are moved one level down. The emptied topmost layer is then reloaded with new products using the conveyor belt. The transfer of products between layers is facilitated by pneumatically operated open-close covers.

Advantages: Due to its multi-layered structure, high-pressure heated air comes into contact with a high tonnage of products, assisting in drying with low energy consumption. Its vertical design takes up minimal horizontal space relative to the tonnage it can dry. The topmost layer is equipped with a mixer, ensuring that humid air rising from the lower layers is efficiently removed from the machine. In the pellet-heated model, drying can also be performed using granular fuels such as hazelnut shells and walnut shells, which are not in pellet form. During the transfer between layers, mixing occurs on each layer, eliminating the need for mixing on each individual layer.

Capacity: A 3-layer structure has a working capacity of 25,000 liters. (We also produce 2 or 4-layer models upon request.) The 3-layer MX25P Model can dry an average of 7,000-8,000 kg of walnuts in one batch. Excluding the initial drying of the first layer, it can dry about 2,500-3,000 kg of walnuts in 15-20 hours. (This can vary due to factors such as the moisture content of the walnuts, ambient humidity, etc.)
